About Lisa Darchambaud

I love travel and have more than 25 years experience working in the luxury sector of the industry, I am motivated by helping to create and grow meaningful and lasting partnerships for my clients and their supply chains. I’m always very results driven and understand that my clients need to see increased market share to justify the expense of representation. It’s an important investment.
I began my career in travel working for leading hotel group Kerzner International (including the One & Only brand). It was the best training ground – visionary hotels operating at the top of a highly competitive marketplace. I learnt my way up – from taking reservations, planning sales trips, attending trade shows to eventually heading up the planning and implementation of UK sales and marketing strategy with trade partners. I enjoyed every moment, but at the point of having two small children, I wanted more flexibility in my work life at a time when working from home was not the norm it is now. I set up LD Sales & Marketing in 2005 – building on my existing network within the industry and expanding to work with new parts of the world.
I’m strategic and passionate about the hospitality industry and always interested and focussed on my clients’ long term as well as short term goals. Most of my clients have been working with me for many years – I like to collaborate closely to create opportunities with a pro-active hands on approach at all times.

I have always been passionate about travel, and with over 15 years of experience in the luxury travel industry, I thrive on creating meaningful connections between brands and their key partners. My career has spanned product management, marketing, and sales, giving me a deep understanding of what it takes to drive commercial success in a highly competitive market.
I started out in travel consultancy before moving into marketing, product development, and account management for some of the industry’s leading names, including The Oxford Ski Company, Caribtours, and Real Holidays. I’ve worked across everything from luxury chalet portfolios and high-net-worth client events to strategic marketing campaigns and supplier negotiations. My experience has allowed me to build an extensive network and a strong reputation for delivering tangible results.
I take a hands-on, proactive approach to everything I do—whether it’s developing sales strategies, managing high-value partnerships, or leading and sharing exceptional travel experiences. My focus is always on delivering long-term value for my clients, ensuring their brand stands out in an ever-evolving luxury travel landscape. Collaboration is key, and I love working with businesses to help them grow, strengthen relationships, and achieve their goals.
